It’s been almost a year since I first started testing video conversation networks, a.k.a. video microblogging platforms, beginning with an invite to the much-hyped Seesmic alpha, a mere 3 weeks into it’s existence. In the last 11 months I’ve been exploring the field of newcomers, including Phreadz, Utterz and 12seconds. Over the coming weeks I plan to review and showcase these services, and several others, with an eye to exploring how business can use video microblogging as part of their social media strategy.
But, in the meantime, I am really pleased to have been invited to speak about video conversation networks next Thursday, September 18th at the Montreal Girl Geek Dinner. The Montreal chapter of Girl Geek Dinners is part of a world-wide movement of people learning about technology in an informal environment. If you’re in town, or here a little early for PodCamp Montreal, please come by and join us for a bite, a drink and a little tour of video conversation platforms.
