Dave Fleet made the official announcement tonight: the third PodCamp Toronto will be held February 21-22, 2009.
If you’re not familiar with PodCamp, I wrote two posts for One Degree that explain how the unconference works and what it means to participants, and how the founders see a bright future.
Once again, it will be held at the Rogers Communication Centre at Ryerson University. It proved to be an excellent facility for the event in ‘08, with very stable wi-fi connections, so I’m really looking forward to going back again in ‘09.
Registration to attend is now open. Last year over 400 people registered, so don’t delay!
I’m such a keener about this event, I’ve already signed up to present a session on video microblogging. Go to the wiki to submit your session.
You can also volunteer, join the Google Group for updates, subscribe to the blog, follow @PodCampToronto on Twitter and contact Eden Spodek to be a sponsor of PodCamp 2009 (hear that Couche-Tard?)
And if you want to promote PodCamp Toronto 2009, you can grab a badge for your blog and use the tags pcto09 or podcamptoronto, or use the hashtag #pcto09.
Although, PodCamp Montreal only wrapped a scant two weeks ago, I’m glad to have another PodCamp on my horizon. With less than five months to go, PodCamp is the only thing that could possibly make me excited enough to say, see you in Toronto in February!
